ITEMS REQUIRING AN ESTIMATE
If your equipment isn't
listed in our repair price list, there's still a good chance
we can repair it.
Call us or use
our inquiry form.
However, please don't send equipment not listed in our price list without first
inquiring.

If you've already inquired and have been referred to this page, this means
that we must see your equipment before we can give you an estimate.
Please follow these directions:

There is a
non-refundable $25.00 bench fee for giving estimates.
Payment
must be included with your order.
(Exception:
Canadian customers, please do not include a check; we will call for your
credit card number for the bench fee.)
However, this fee is waived if we repair
your equipment, and the $25.00 you paid is applied to the final bill. If we are unable to
repair your equipment for any reason, this money will
go towards return ground shipping as
well as troubleshooting and handling costs. Be
sure to include a check for $25.00 made out to "Preferred
Telecomm". If a check is not included and we have
to call you, it will only serve to delay the repair of your equipment.
- On your packing list print in
big letters "PLEASE CALL WITH REPAIR PRICE
BEFORE REPAIRING". We
will contact you and get approval before proceeding with repair.
- You MUST include all
parts and accessories
needed to make your equipment run, such as a power supply if it's
supposed to have one.
- You MUST
describe the symptoms/defects in detail. It is also important for us
to know if the problem is delayed and if it is intermittent. It's also a
good idea to tell what you've already done to fix the problem, if
anything.
- Turnaround for
equipment requiring an estimate runs 2-4 weeks.
- We do not return defective parts
that we replace.

Pack your phones (a used box is OK) and pad them with crumpled newspaper.

PLEASE PRINT OUT OUR
REPAIR ORDER FORM and
include it with your order. If you don't have a printer, then include a
note describing the problems your phone is exhibiting. It's also
important for us to know if the problem is delayed and if it is
intermittent. It's also a good idea to tell what you've already done to
fix the problem, if anything. If you're sending
an item that requires an estimate, be sure to include a check for $25.00.
